Flower Headbands

This is a head or hairband... I don't know which is which, to be honest. But it was my first try on a crochet flower, a pattern I followed on youtube videos by Teresa. Her tutorials are very precise and also easy to follow.

I fell in love with it right after it was completed. It gained attentions and many beautiful compliments from people easpecially from little girls at the playground :-)

When done with the flower, make two seperate chain, each long enough to fold in two to the length that is fitting around your head. They should look like big loops. Then tie the chain loop made at two sides on the petals. You done!

Knitted Beanie Hat

With no sign of winter in England, I still made myself a warm knitted beanie. Yes, it's knit this time! I've missed knitting so so much and so I decided to make myself a beanie! :-)

This is pattern is called the Stimulated Cable pattern. I got it free from the site Knittingonthenet, the baby hats section.Very easy and fun to make. I urge crocheters to try their hands on pointy needles...It's easy, fun and would be done in no time! :-)

Tried my best to make the stitch look clear on the picture...

Beret

A special beret made for a special friend of mine on her 21 Birthday. My initial idea was to make her a cowl which I did, but the yarn was not enough to give it a proper finish but she loved what I gave her all the same, together with the beret.

I started with a simple flower like pattern in the middle and proceeded with the V stitch pattern. I couldn't find models to help me take photos of my work therefore I didn't have any other option than to find other ways to make took get them to look good. So the grass and the bench came in handy

To give it an interesting look I sew in pearls to give it a fancy elegant look. On the other hand, it looks rather chrismasy but in a good way. :)

I also added gold metalic crochet yarn on the flower to give the beret a glamarous look...Hope its impressive...

I couldn't resist adding a pearl on the twirly flower.

My first Backpack

I made this backpack last year sometime in the summer. I really enjoyed making it because I was hooking it up at a playground. It did gain attention from some of the kids.

I had many photos of this project but I realised that I delete them off my pc :-(. I'll still try find them and upload them.

I made this advert to make and sell this backpack to raise money for Haiti...Unfortunately, I fell ill and wasn't able to hook much. :-(

Purse/Clutch

Its been quite sometime I got to make another project. Made this last year and I realised that I haven't showed it off to the world yet, so...here it is! Not too fancy...I wanted to get raid of few yarns and I came up with the idea of making a pretty purse. I did not make it for anyone in particular but now I want to give it away and it needs an owner! Anyways I hope its lovely to both eyes, like it is to mine. :)

Too sunny in September, but it was a fine weather to take pictures of pretty things such as these! :)

Don't it look soo cute??? I think it does, too!

My images look bright because my camera phone dont take good photos so, I tend to edit my work quite a lot to make up for the original look. It's still a bit too bright as a result because I took it in an open sunny space in the garden. I hope its not too blinding...:-/

Trying to make it look like a 1960's purse. Not too bad, still...

Flower Purse

Flower Purse

I made this lovely purse/bag for my little niece for her birthday and she loved it! I was happy to see the happiness on her face when she unwrapped it. For me its all about the excitement and what they think about my works

The huge flower in the centre of the purse is a freeform pattern I made up and everything else. To be honest I decided to make it look like a purse I saw in Primark and I thought it looked beautiful. It was round shaped just like mine, but the flower and the bag was made of leather. This flower, though, is what make it distinct from Primarks version...And of course, the yarn. However, it didn't come out exactly the same as I hoped for but I like mine better, I must say :)

I love to use trees too...They show that they too can be of use in my crochet fashion world...Lol. Kind of...

It's realy hard to find a model. I had to use a garden bench to take photos of many of my projects works. But the bench is working it! What can I say? :-)P

Everywhere I go I had to hang there!

The garden flower pot too had a turn to fashion with work! ;)

Crochetted Large Size Purse

This is the biggest handbag/purse I have ever made. It was really fraustrating because I did not plan this huge project. However musta say it came out not too good. The colours I used were Navy blue and some kind of  pink colour.

I had wanted to make it with only a pink colour yarn. But I'm always changing my mind as my project progresses and I know this happens becase I do not plan it...just plucking the ideas and design from the air.

I thought the size of the bag will end up oversized, but the lady I made this for, thought the size was absolutely perfect! An ideal for her and is the right size to pack stuffs like diappers in it

Flat Hand bag

I enjoyed making this pattern. I crocheted a rectangular shape and folded it in half and crocheted the sides together. I'll put up the patterns, they're fairly easy to do and I recommend any beginner or crocheter to try  hooking this bag up for a special friend. :)

You can line the insides if prefered but, I strongly advise that you do, if want it to be able to hold things such as books...and chocolates! :-D
